Frequently Asked Questions

How much professional experience do you have?

I have 18 years’ worth of professional experience in total, across executive and administrative support, business development, virtual assistance, customer and technical support, CRM, operations, outbound sales and lead qualification, research and documentation, and creative support.

Do you specialize in one industry?

No. I do not limit my work to one industry. My previous experience has required me to adapt to different tasks, working environments, clients, and customer needs, and I bring that same flexibility and adaptability to each engagement.

Can we start with a limited paid trial before committing to ongoing support?

Yes. A trial can be handled as a paid project, with the scope, fee, timeline, and expected deliverable agreed before work begins. Once the project is completed, the client can decide whether they would like to continue with additional or ongoing support.

Do you work with clients in different time zones?

Yes. I am based in the Philippines and can support international clients. Most work can be handled independently and asynchronously.

What does asynchronous work mean?

Asynchronous work means that tasks do not always require everyone to be online at the same time. Instructions, files, updates, questions, deadlines, and next steps can be documented so work can continue even when the client and I are working in different time zones or schedules.

What are your normal response times?

My general message response time is within one working day, typically within 24 hours on working days.

Can live meetings, calls, or scheduled coverage be arranged?

Yes, when needed and arranged in advance. Onboarding calls, check-ins, reviews, meetings, or scheduled coverage can be included depending on the engagement.

Some calls or meetings may also be recorded for note-taking, documentation, or to maintain an accurate record of what was discussed or agreed. Any recording would be disclosed appropriately and handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy.

Private client conversations, internal information, and recordings are not published or shared publicly or on social media. I consider that inappropriate and unprofessional, and I keep client communications private unless there is a legitimate reason and appropriate permission to share something.

How do you handle availability and client capacity?

I confirm availability before accepting work and do not treat reserved time as unlimited capacity. Depending on the workload, deadlines, project requirements, and individual agreements, I may support several clients at the same time. There may be periods when I am managing as many as five active clients, depending on the type and amount of work involved.

Can you work within the tools and systems my business already uses?

Yes. I prefer working within an existing setup where practical. Appropriate access, permissions, instructions, and any client-specific training should be provided whenever needed.

What happens if something becomes urgent or needs rush handling?

Send the actual deadline and explain what makes it urgent. I will confirm whether I can accommodate it based on my current workload and existing commitments before proceeding.

How do hourly, retainer, and project-based arrangements differ?

Hourly support works for changing workloads. A retainer reserves agreed ongoing capacity within a monthly scope. Project-based work is tied to a defined deliverable or outcome.

Do retainers include unlimited work?

No. A retainer reserves agreed capacity; it does not mean unlimited tasks or unlimited availability.

Can payments be split or scheduled?

They may be, depending on the project or engagement. Any split-payment or installment arrangement must be discussed and agreed before work begins.

Are payments refundable?

Payments are non-refundable once work has begun, time or capacity has been reserved, or a project has been completed.
